More Rock 'N Roll

One thing you should not do is try to ride your mountain bike up the Lairig Ghru and then down Glen Tilt. It is one of the most horrific rides than you can attempt. You leave Aviemore and trek onwards and upwards. You are basically hiking with your bike and a 35 pound rucksack on your back. Over the pass and you need to negotiate boulders the size of dinner tables and lots of scree. Then a stop start ride down past the bothy and onto Glen Dee. Attempt to cross a 30 foot wide river and continue down a long forgotten land rover track. We camped overnight by the White Bridge and then rode/walked the rest of the way down Glen Tilt. Finally we reach some sort of civilization at Forest Lodge and its land rover tracks all the way to Blair Atholl. A very tiring experience. But some very scenic views.
