Welcome To The Future

I went to Oran Mor last night to see The Twilight Sad. Your new favourite band. It was a very special gig. The first band was a small Irish foursome called Kowalski. Good tunes, and very tight. One to look out for. Then there was Endor. Not very impressed really, got a bit boring. But then came The Twilight Sad. If you havent heard their music, they are very Scottish. Think My Vitriol granduer with some slurred Highland singing. The moment they took the stage it was a wall of sound, feedback and shouty voices. They flowed from one track to another like they had been doing this all their lives. The red and blue lights focused over the smoke gave the stage an even more grand presence. This is a band to look out for. You can listen to them here.

A busy weekend ahead. I am going to the Art School Degree Show tonight to see Caroline sister's work, and everybody elses. There is also a street party on as well, so should be good fun. Then on Saturday is the last ever Aereogramme gig. Its at the QMU so try and get tickets to see the mighty Aereogramme for the last time. Probably.
